Wonderful, the second conference is taking up speed!
This time a bigger ambition is driving us: to bring together the interpretive community that has been constructed (better: that has constructed itself) around the principles of data protection. This kind of community is very divers and does not respond in the same way to data protection challenges. However, what they share is the terminology and the method of data protection. I hope that everybody present behaves and takes time to celebrate first being in one physical space. We will need many more CDPD conferences to find out whether common responses are possible.
I do not regret being very pessimistic about that.
