It is with great sadness that we learnt that one of the founding members of the CPDP conference, Prof. Dr. Andreas Pfitzmann, has suddenly passed away. Andreas was head of the privacy and data security group at the Technische Universität Dresden and a leading specialist on privacy. He will be sadly missed. A commemorative moment will be organised at the conference.
